BEST HOSPITALITY PROJECT 

WALDORF ASTORIA BEVERLY HILLS 

Location: 9850 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, CA 90210

Waldorf-Astoria Beverly Hills is managed by Hilton Worldwide, Inc. The lenders for the project were Aareal Capital Corporation, Broad Street Credit Holdings LLC and Hilton Worldwide, Inc. This new hotel represents the first phase of a multi-phase, fully entitled development located within the 9-acre site of the existing Beverly Hilton Hotel. The Waldorf Astoria has achieved a LEED Gold Rating, and has already garnered the Conde Nast Reader’s Choice Award for Best Hotel in Los Angeles. The hotel contains 170 keys, 42 of which are Suites, including 3 entertainment Villa Suites and a 3,400 sf Presidential Suite. Each room has a full-length balcony. Typical standard rooms are 535 sf. The hotel also includes two Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurants (jean Georges Beverly Hills and The Rooftop by JG) and a lobby bar, a La Prairie Spa, a 3,000 sf Ballroom, as well as additional meeting and private dining rooms.

USC VILLAGE

Size: 1,250,000 sf

Architect: Harley Ellis Devereaux

The University of Southern California’s $700 million investment in the 15-acre USC Village on its University Park Campus academic core is the largest mixed use development in the history of South Los Angeles. The project created 5,400 construction jobs and 800 permanent jobs in the project’s restaurants and shops. It brings much-needed retail options, including Target, Trader Joe’s, Bank of America and Starbucks along with more than 20 small business shops, restaurants and lifestyle amenities to the campus and neighborhood.
