SFO Harvey Milk Terminal 1 Named ENR’s 2026 Northern California Project of the Year

Nevell Group, Inc. (NGi) is proud to have contributed to San Francisco International Airport’s Harvey Milk Terminal 1, recently recognized as Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2026 Northern California Project of the Year.

The landmark terminal redevelopment represents a major transformation of one of the nation’s busiest airports, delivering modern facilities, improved passenger experiences, and enhanced operational efficiency. The complex project required extensive coordination, phased construction, and careful planning to maintain airport operations throughout construction.
Working alongside Hensel Phelps, Gensler, Kuth Ranieri Architects, and the broader project team, NGi contributed design-assist, preconstruction, metal framing, plaster, and specialty ceiling systems to support the terminal’s architectural and operational requirements.
This recognition reflects the collaboration, innovation, and craftsmanship required to deliver a project of this scale and complexity.

Congratulations to Hensel Phelps, San Francisco International Airport, Gensler, Kuth Ranieri Architects, and the entire project team on this outstanding achievement. NGi is honored to have played a role in bringing this transformative aviation project to life.
